Iron Mash is an on-site homebrew competition hosted each year by the Cap and Hare. This event takes place on a Sunday in October each year. Participants will arrive not knowing what ingredients they will brew with! After brew day, the wort is taken home for fermentation, to be turned in at a later date for judging.

“As was previously announced, Iron Mash 2022 will take place at THREE WIDE BREWING in Fort Worth Tx on Sunday October 23rd.
We are excited for some planned changes this year..Along with a new location, we are planning for a new T-Shirt design…..new Prizes on Awards Day, New ingredients & increased deviousness on my part 
Registration for this event will open at 10.00am on Saturday August 20th.
The entry fee this year will be $75 for up to a 12 gallon batch.
Registration will be the same as previous years: one option for propane systems and one for 120V electric brew systems. We will be offering 6 electric brew system places (up from 4) provisionally. This may increase. If you have both propane & electric capabilities, please select the propane option to save the electric places for those with no alternative.
Because of the new venue and some of the unknown that goes with it, we are provisionally limiting the number of entries to 30 but will be taking a waiting list. If we sell out and find out that we have more available space we will offer the opportunity to enter to those teams on the waiting list in the order that they were received.”
